ABOUT OKL FOUNDATION & LIBRARY POST
BACKGROUND
BACKGROUND
“Empowering the Frontier: From Grassroots to Global Advocacy.”
Established in 2021, LibraryPost.com serves as the official digital advocacy and strategic media arm of the OKL Foundation. Originating from the resilient spirit of the OKL Street Library in Malaka, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), this platform was built to bridge the information gap between the Indonesia-Timor Leste borderlands and the international community. We transform grassroots narratives into “Social Evidence,” ensuring that the voices of frontier communities are documented, heard, and integrated into global discourses on social innovation.
OBJECTIVES
- Global Advocacy: To amplify the socio-economic narratives of marginalized communities to international stakeholders and policymakers.
- Institutional Transparency: To provide a verifiable digital archive of OKL Foundation’s social impact for global partners and donors.
- Media Literacy: To empower frontier youth through citizen journalism, digital storytelling, and professional communication skills.
- Strategic Research: To serve as a primary data hub for studies on community resilience, media dynamics, and social ecosystems.
VISION & MISSION
- Vision:
“To become a world-class center of excellence for community resilience, empowering the frontier through holistic social innovation and sustainable ecosystems.”
- Mission:
- Advocating for digital, cultural, and functional literacy as the cornerstone of community empowerment.
